We are handling the auction disposal of a very large number of connoisseur-calibre Persian & other Eastern hand-knotted rugs, runners and carpets, constituting the primary assets of Specialised Intermediary Services Ltd. Their clients encompassed a rollcall of many famous and illustrious companies, cultural institutions and wealthy collectors of the past fifty years - a background reflected in the Specialised Intermediary Services Ltd. Potential and existing clients are accordingly advised to regularly consult the main daily or weekly newspapers in their own region and/or in their regions of main interest for announcements of forthcoming Oriental carpet auctions published either by Bickenstaff & Knowles or by their appointed local auction agents and representatives.

Alternatively, clients may email us requesting notification of auctions in specific areas, or may utilise the Auction Update Service available on this website. Clients visiting London may wish to visit our warehouse sale in Vauxhall - it is advisable to telephone us first (020 7091 7373) to arrange an appointment.
